Mike Dixon ist Absolvent des Trinity College of Music und hat sich seither als Musical Supervisor, Musical Director, Dirigent, Arrangeur und Komponist etabliert. Zu seinen Arbeiten für das Theater zählen u.a. OH! WHAT A LOVELY WAR, THE BODYGUARD, THE INFIDEL, TABOO, HAIR, ZORRO, NEVER FORGET – THE MUSICAL, WE WILL  ROCK YOU, FOOTLOOSE, GREASE, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, DOCTOR DOLITTLE, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT und LA CAGE AUX FOLLES. Zu seinen Arbeiten für das Fernsehen zählen u.a. „Over the Rainbow“, „Children in Need Rocks the Royal Albert Hall“, „The Electric Proms“, „Concert for Diana“, „Glastonbury 2007“, „MusiCool“, „The Royal Variety Show“, „Miss World“, „The British Comedy Awards“, „The Ritchie Experience“, „Late Night With Jerry Springer“, „The Queen’s Jubilee Rock Concert“, „The Prince’s Trust 30th Anniversary Concert“, „BBC Proms in the Park“, „Audience with Dame Shirley Bassey“ und „Audience with Lionel Richie Live“. Darüber hinaus war er im Bereich Hörfunk bei folgenden Produktionen beteiligt: „Elvis Forever“, „Elbow at Abbey Road“, „Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Birthday in the Park“, „Friday Night is Bond Night“, „The Billie Holiday Story”, „Friday Night is Music Night” und „BBC Radio 2 Voice of Musical Theatre Competition“. Aufnahmen, bei denen er mitwirkte, waren u.a. „The Sound of Rodgers and Hammerstein”, „The Performance With Dame Shirley Bassey“, „Zorro“, „We Will Rock You“, „Grease“, „Doctor Dolittle“, „Jesus Christ Superstar“, „Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat“, „Aspects of Love“ sowie der Film-Soundtrack von „Evita“.
