Can people who are dependent on a wheelchair book any seat? Can the rollator be taken into the auditorium or must it be handed in at the cloakroom?

In principle, any seat can be booked. To reach the seat, the rollator can be taken into the auditorium, after which it must be handed in at the cloakroom. It is recommended to book a barrier-free corner seat (stalls) in the immediate vicinity of the exit.

Can people who are dependent on crutches or similar aids book any seat? Can they book any seat? Can they be brought into the auditorium?

In principle, any seat can be booked. Crutches or similar aids may be taken into the auditorium. Aids may be taken into the auditorium and stowed in the immediate vicinity, e.g. under the seat. It is recommended to book a barrier-free corner seat (stalls) in the immediate vicinity of the exit.

May medical aids (e.g.: oxygen equipment) be taken into the auditorium?

Mobile medical aids (e.g.: oxygen equipment in a backpack) may be taken into the auditorium. Stationary medical aids are not permitted for safety reasons. A power supply in the auditorium is not possible. We ask for your understanding.

Is there an induction system for people with hearing aids?

RONACHER & RAIMUND THEATER

We would also like to enable people with hearing aids to participate in our musical productions without interference. Therefore, our auditorium is equipped with an inductive hearing system.

This transmits the stage sound directly to our visitors' hearing aids and effectively suppresses background noise, such as background noise and reverberation. All information reaches the listener's ear completely undistorted.

How does it work?

An induction loop enables wireless, interference-free reception of audio signals. The induction loop can be thought of as a wire loop that is placed around the predefined seating area. The useful signal is transmitted directly into the hearing instrument by means of a magnetic field.

Simple activation of the telecoil in your own hearing aid or CI speech processor

In order to receive this signal, it is necessary to set your system to the appropriate reception mode: to use an inductive hearing system, the hearing aid is switched to T or M/T.

Please note that reception is only possible in the predefined seating area:

RONACHER

ROCK ME AMADEUS - THE FALCO MUSICAL

Center stalls, rows 18 to 24

RAIMUND THEATER

THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA

Center stalls, rows 3, 4, 6 to 11

Is it possible to bring a partner dog/guide dog?

Yes, guide dogs and partner dogs with ID may be taken into the auditorium with a leash and muzzle. The prerequisite for this is the reservation of a barrier-free corner seat (stalls) in the immediate vicinity of the exit. To reserve an appropriate seat, please contact one of the three VBW box offices (Theater an der Wien, Raimund Theater, Ronacher), the Wien-Ticket Pavillon or call Wien-Ticket on 01 58885-111. It is pointed out that it is at the visitor's own discretion to decide and judge whether it is possible for the dog to attend the performance without any adverse health effects (volume, lighting effects, etc.) and without disturbing the stage show and the audience (in particular by staying quietly in the square, etc.). For the sake of good order, it is pointed out that in this context any liability on the part of VBW is fully and expressly excluded.
