Maximilian Klakow graduated with honors from the Stage School Hamburg at the age of 18 before studying opera singing and conducting in Hanover. In Vienna, he appeared in MOZART! and MESSIAH ROCKS at the Raimund Theater and ELISABETH at Schönbrunn, among others. At the Volksoper, he has been a versatile performer in musicals, operettas and operas since 2016, from Balu the Bear in the THE JUNGLE BOOK to Zuniga in CARMEN or Antonio in FIGAROS HOCHZEIT. As musical director he was responsible for DIE SCHATZINSEL, DIE PÄPSTIN, KOLPINGS TRAUM and FRIEDRICH at the Musical Summer Fulda, worked on board of AIDA CRUISES, teaches at musical schools and most recently conducted ROMEO UND JULIA at the Musical Summer Winzendorf.
