The popular baritone was born in Pontiac, Michigan, USA, and began his career as a music and German teacher before graduating with distinction in Opera and Concert Performance from the Leopold Mozart Centre in Augsburg. His breakthrough in musicals came in 2000, when he played the Bavarian king in LUDWIG II. He has since played numerous major roles, including appearances in SWEENEY TODD, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, VICTOR/VICTORIA, WOMAN OF THE YEAR, HIGH SOCIETY, LES MISÉRABLES, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR and MY FAIR LADY. His most recent appearance was for the VBW as Count Arco in their new production of MOZART!  He has performed at numerous European theatres and concert halls, with an impressive repertoire of operas, operettas, musicals and song recitals.
