Yuri Yoshimura is a native of Vienna with Japanese roots. She completed her musical training at the Conservatory Sunrise Studios Vienna and previously received a Bachelor in Liberal Arts from Sophia University in Tokyo. In Austria, she played Connie Wong in A CHORUS LINE (directed by Baayork Lee) at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt, where she also appeared as Yoko in the production MARS 2036. At Landestheater Linz she appeared as Frau Pleti/Ensemble in the play IN 80 TAGEN UM DIE WELT and there as Geminae in DIE SPINNEN, DIE RÖMER - A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM. In Germany she started in the leading role and as a soloist in the revue show SAYONARA TOKYO at the Wintergarten Berlin, followed by an engagement in Disney's DER GLÖCKNER VON NOTRE DAME at the Apollo Theater Stuttgart. At the Luisenburg Festival she appeared on stage as Marty in GREASE and in the ensemble of MADAGASCAR.
