The orchestration of MARY POPPINS is one of a whole list of William David Brohn's works for Cameron Mackintosh since their first collaboration on MISS SAIGON in 1989 (Theatre Royal Drury Lane). Orchestrating has made him happy for the past 25 years and has had him involved in productions such as OLIVER! He has also orchestrated other musicals for the West End and Broadway, such as CRAZY FOR YOU, THE SECRET GARDEN, MARTIN GUERRE, HEY! MR PRODUCER, THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK, RAGTIME, WICKED - THE WITCHES OF OZ and PORGY AND BESS. He also participated in the transfer of CAROUSEL and OKLAHOMA! from the Royal National Theatre and MY FAIR LADY to the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. In the ballet, concert and symphonic fields he has worked with singers such as Placido Domingo and Marilyn Horne, with choreographers Agnes de Mille, Kenneth Macmillan, Susan Stroman, Christopher Wheeldon and Matthew Bourne, with violinist Joshua Bell and conductors André Previn and John Williams.
