The 28th Benefit Gala WIDER DIE VIOLENCE on October 23, 2017
The purpose of the association is to provide financial support to organizations dedicated to combating violence and, in particular, violence in the family, to enable them to carry out their work.
For example, Flowrag, Alfons Haider, Nathan Trent, Wiener Blond, teatro - music theater for young audiences, Marika Lichter and numerous other artists of different genres demonstrated their solidarity on this important topic of our society with their appearance.

Due to the enormous audience success and a total of over 30,000 tickets sold, the VBW’s internationally successful production ELISABETH, penned by the successful duo of Michael Kunze & Sylvester Levay, will also be performed next year from the 29th of June to the 1st of July 2023 as an exceptional concert experience in the grand forecourt of Schönbrunn Palace.
The famous historical setting provides a unique and dignified backdrop for the concert version of the musical, which tells the dramatic and moving story of the life, loves and tribulations of Empress Elisabeth of Austria.
