For the ninth time, the matinee of MUSICAL MEETS OPERA, a cooperation between the Vereinigten Bühnen Wien and the friends of the Vienna State Opera, will take place in the Ronacher on Sunday, May 7, 2017.
Once again, performers from the current musical production DON CAMILLO & PEPPONE as well as well-known colleagues from the genre opera will be on stage together.

DON CAMILLO & PEPPONE lovingly tells the stories about the quarrelsome Catholic priest Don Camillo and his equally powerful opponent Peppone as a cheerful, carefree musical. It promises to meet again with charming, well-loved characters. A happy story about rural Italy in the 1950s, a spirit of optimism, human interaction, tolerance and the power of reconciliation.
