Roy Moore has written and orchestrated the music for almost 300 television shows for BBC TV. His work for BBC TV includes 'Allo 'Allo, You Rang M'lord, Are You Being Served? and many more. He regularly arranges pieces for the BBC Concert Orchestra and was the Musical Associate for the Eurovision Song Contest in Birmingham. His work for television and sound recordings includes scores for Barry Manilow, Cliff Richard and Andrea Bocelli. He has worked in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands, where he orchestrated the music for 3 Musketeers, Hans Klok, Holiday On Ice, Der Medicus (joint winner of the 2016 German Musical Theater prize for Best Musical Arrangement), Moeder Ik Wil Bij de Revue, The Visit, Ich War Noch Niemals in New York and I Am from Austria. His film work includes Lord of the Rings and the Broadway version of The Pirates of Penzance.

In New York he arranged Don Pasquale for the Public Theatre in Central Park. He has directed a host of shows on London's West End, including A Chorus Line, Jesus Christ Superstar, Starlight Express, and in 1996 he directed the Royal Variety Performance. He has also provided the musical accompaniment for artists such as Mel Tormé, Shirley Bassey, Roy Orbison, Lulu and Tom Jones.
