Tessa Jill Brockhoff was born in Nieuwegein in the Netherlands. In 2012, she was accepted by the renowned Fontys Conservatory Tilburg, where her singing teachers were Edward Hoepelman and Ingrid Zeegers. While still a student, she performed in the ensemble of COMPANY and as a soloist in A SONDHEIM CONCERT. Under director Paul Eenens, she played all the mothers in INTO THE WOODS. As a student, she took part in masterclasses by Koen van Dijk, Pia Douwes, Inge Ipenburg and Lior Kretzer, and was employed as an actress at Efteling Theme Park.
