Tania Golden Mother
Tania Golden, was born in Sydney, Australia and now lives and works in Vienna. She trained as an actor, singer, director and cultural manager in Vienna, Cologne, and Los Angeles. Golden has over 30 years of center stage experience as an actor and singer in independent productions (including at the Drachengasse and Schauspielhaus Wien theaters), and in large theaters such as Theater in der Josefstadt, Landestheater Salzburg (festivals), Vereinigte Bühnen Wien (MOZART!, MARY POPPINS), Vienna's Theater der Jugend and Volksoper (GYPSY), plus guest performances and roles in Europe and Australia. She has also appeared on film, e.g., in "Murer - Anatomy of a Trial" by Christian Frosch. She began directing in 2001 (at the Rabenhof Theater in Vienna), and has directed video clips, concerts and readings, including an evening of love songs in the style of Fried entitled "Es ist was es ist" with Shlomit Butbuland, and "Oktaven des Lichts" with the Ensemble Wiener Collage in the Arnold Schönberg Center in Vienna. She directed GLORY DAYS at Vienna's Kosmos Theater and the 2022 Sommerspiele Melk, and THE POWER OF THE FUCKING RAINBOW for WerkXPetersplatz. Since 2007, she has taught at Schauspielschule Krauss performing arts school as a tutor/an assistant professor/a lecturer in ensemble practice, musical theater and role study, and she also coaches up-and-coming directors.
