Moritz Mausser was born in Vienna, Austria, and grew up in Baden bei Wien. He discovered the world of musicals at an early age, thanks to family theater trips. He fell in love with the musical DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES (2009) first, and bought standing room tickets to watch it - more than 20 times. At the age of nine, he discovered his passion for singing and drama. He belonged to the "teatro" musicals club for over 10 years, where he gained enormous experience as a performer through their annual summer premieres. Some of his most notable roles include King John (ROBIN HOOD), Laurie Laurence (LITTLE WOMEN) and the Mad Hatter (ALICE IN WONDERLAND). He has also performed in productions in the city of Baden, Austria (PETER PAN). In 2020, Moritz began his Musical Theater Entertainment studies at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK). In 2019, he was awarded First Prize by the Papageno Awards for his performance as the Mad Hatter, and won the Walter Jurmann Competition in 2021. Through his participation in the ROCK ME AMADEUS - THE FALCO MUSICAL workshops held by VBW (Vereinigte Bühnen Wien), he now has the honor of playing Hans Hölzel, better known as Falco, in the forthcoming world premiere at the Ronacher Theater.
