MISS SAIGON, Cameron Mackintosh’s powerful and poignant international hit musical will have its first ever run in Vienna from November 2021 onwards. Christian Struppeck, the VBW’s Artistic Director of Musicals, brings this famous musical by Alain Boublil & Claude-Michel Schönberg (LES MISÉRABLES) to Austria in a spectacular new production that marks the grand re-opening of the Raimund Theater. At a press conference today he presented the production and its soloists to the media.

A top-notch cast for Vienna

For the new Raimund Theater’s first major long run production the VBW have engaged a first-class cast: newcomers Vanessa Heinz and audience favourite Oedo Kuipers (MOZART!) take on the roles of Kim and Chris. Christian Rey Marbella gives his Vienna debut at the Raimund Theater as the Engineer after playing the role in the production’s tour of the UK and Ireland. John is played by musical theatre star Gino Emnes (JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR / Vienna, THE GRAND VBW MUSICAL TV GALA) and Thuy by the opera singer and musical theatre performer James Park (PETER GRIMES). Abla Alaoui (DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES / Vienna) returns to Vienna and the VBW for MISS SAIGON as Ellen, while Annemarie Lauretta (Disney’s ALADDIN) gives her VBW debut as Gigi.

Vanessa Heinz was born in Hong Kong in 1998. At the age of 5 she moved with her family to Berlin, where she grew up and finished her school education with the "Abitur" in 2016. In 2018 she began her musical studies at the Theaterakademie August Everding in Munich, which she successfully completed in 2021 with a "Bachelor of Arts". As part of her studies, she participated in various musical productions. In 2019, she played Tinkerbell in the musical PETER PAN directed by Alen Hodzovic, a semi-concert performance with the Munich Radio Orchestra at the Prinzregententheater in Munich. In the same year, she won the Walter and Charlotte Hamel Foundation Sponsorship Award at the National Singing Competition and was on stage at the Friedrichstadtpalast in Berlin for the winners' concert.

From 2019 to 2020, she appeared in the musical Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT (directed by Johannes Reitmeier) at the Prinzregententheater and the Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck. In 2021 she was part of the directing project "Palace of Smiles" directed by Benjamin Truong at the Silbersaal of the Deutsches Theater in Munich. Also directed by Benjamin Truong, she performed shortly after in the play "After the End" at the Academy Studio of the Theater Academy. In April this year, she sang in the big MUSICAL TV CONCERT of the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien.

Oedo Kuipers graduated from the renowned Conservatory of Music Theater in Tilburg in 2013. For his role as Raoul in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, the native Dutchman moved to Hamburg directly afterwards. His big breakthrough in the German-language musical world came with the title role in the musical MOZART!, which he performed under the direction of Harry Kupfer, first at Vienna's Raimund Theater and later in Shanghai. Here he worked closely with Sylvester Levay and Michael Kunze. Since then he has performed for both of them in several international galas. In St. Gallen, Kuipers had the privilege of creating the lead role of Edward Whymper in the world premiere of the musical MATTERHORN, directed by award-winning film director Shekhar Kapur and set to the music of world-renowned composer Albert Hammond. The Dutchman is also known for the roles of Hortensio in KISS ME KATE, Romeo in ROMEO & JULIA and King Ludwig in LUDWIG2. Besides the stage, Oedo has already recorded two albums of his own, "COVERART" and "PURE" and has given many successful concerts. Until recently, he could be seen at the Hamburg State Opera in John Neumeier's creation BERNSTEIN DANCES. With his portrayal of Jesus in Erik Petersen's new production of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, he is also enjoying great success in the world of German state theaters.

Christian Rey Marbella is a musical theater actor, singer and dancer. He has an extensive musical theater experience in Asia, United Kingdom and the United States. Theater credits include Engineer and Thuy in MISS SAIGON, Luntha in THE KING AND I, and the Apostle Peter in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. Other theater credits include BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, CINDERELLA, SHOWBOAT, THE FULL MONTY and some original Filipino musicals, like in CALAMBA JOE playing the national hero Dr. Jose Rizal, as Emilio Jacinto in 1896:THE MUSICAL and as the demon Ravana in RAMAHARI 2012 REVIVAL, as part of Ballet Philippines 50th Anniversary Season. He is very excited and looking forward to reprise his role of the Engineer, this time with a new text in German in MISS SAIGON Vienna 2021.

Abla Alaoui completed her education at the Joop van den Ende Academy and was engaged for the role of Mary Robert in SISTER ACT in Oberhausen even before her graduation. This was followed by an engagement for the European premiere of Frank Wildhorn's BONNIE & CLYDE, for which she created the role of Bonnie. She was then seen at the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien in MOZART! as Nannerl, among other roles. Abla was then seen as Betty Schaefer in SUNSET BOULEVARD at the Frankenfestspiele. Afterwards, she could be found at the Theater des Westens, where she was engaged again for the role of Mary Robert in the tour production of SISTER ACT. Parallel to Sister Act, Abla Alaoui was also seen at the Stadttheater Bielefeld, where she performed as Trix in several performances of the play HOCHZEIT MIT HINDERNISSEN. After that she played the role of Sarah in DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES in Vienna and supported the JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR production at Easter. This was followed by the role of Lisa alternating with Sophie in the Germany, Austria and Switzerland tour of MAMMA MIA. As Jenny she participated in the Austrian premiere of Webber's ASPECTS OF LOVE in Vienna. In the summer of 2021, she can be seen in GOETHE! in the leading female role of Lotte at the Bad Hersfeld Festival.

Born in The Hague, Gino Emnes has a solid training as a musical performer and musical teacher, which he completed at the Conservatory of The Hague and the Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts in Amsterdam. The charismatic mime played in countless hit productions, such as Tyrone Jackson in FAME or the role of Benny in the Dutch tour production of RENT. He then appeared on stage in SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER in Utrecht. In 2001, Gino took on the role of Simba in the premiere cast of Disney's THE KING OF THE LIONS in Hamburg, before moving to Austria, where he played the role of Black in WILD PARTY. After an engagement as Milton in "Avenue X" at the Vienna Chamber Opera and as Ronny in HAIR in Zurich, he was seen in the Netherlands as Rum Tum Tugger in CATS and played Simba again in Disney's THE KING OF THE LIONS in Scheveningen. In 2007, he toured Germany's largest halls as a soloist in the Best of Musical Gala. At the renowned open-air play in Tecklenburg, he gave the Seaweed J. Stubbs in HAIRSPRAY. After his Stuttgart engagement as the first cast member of Eddie in SISTER ACT, the likeable performer was drawn back to Hamburg. There he could be seen in ROCKY - DAS MUSICAL in the role of Apollo Creed at the Stage Operettenhaus. When the show moved to the Palladium Theater in Stuttgart in 2015, Gino decided to continue performing there in the role of Apollo. Gino was in the original cast of the world premiere of the musical CARMEN CUBANA and in the concert version of the same play in 2016 together with the Kaunas Symphony Orchestra, played the main role of Joe. He was back as Eddie in 2016 for the Berlin premiere of SISTER ACT. He performed the lead role of Dr. Frank N' Furter at the Schlossfestspiele Zwingenberg am Neckar in the summer of 2017 and 2018. Most recently, Gino Emnes took on the lead role of Lola in the Broadway musical KINKY BOOTS at the Hamburg Operettenhaus. In 2018, he was invited to a gala in honor of Harvey Fierstein on Broadway in New York. Gino Emnes started 2019 with two major premieres at once: RAGTIME, in the role of Coalhouse Walker Jr. at the Musiktheater Linz and the title role Martin Luther King in the choral musical of the same name in the Ruhr region. Continuing in Austria, followed the role of Judas in the production JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR at the Raimund Theater, Vienna and the appearance at the Amstetten Summer Festival the ROCKY HORROR SHOW in the role of Dr. Frank N' Further. In the fall of 2019, Gino Emnes took on the role of Ike Turner in the musical TINA, The Musical at the Operettenhaus Hamburg. The same role that Gino will also take on in the Dutch version in the summer of 2021. His first CD entitled "Ich sing mein Lied" with personal songs is available since December 2017.

The young tenor James Park studied classical singing at the Robert Schumann Musikhochschule Düsseldorf, first in the class of Prof. Michail Lanskoi and later with Prof. Konrad Jarnot. After completing his bachelor's degree, he became a member of the Opera Studio Niederrhein of the Theater Krefeld Mönchengladbach and performed in various opera and musical productions: as the Beast in the children's opera after Louis Spohr "Beauty and the Beast", Steward of the Marschallin in "Der Rosenkavalier", Bob Boles in "Peter Grimes" by Benjamin Britten, Fiorillo / Officer in "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" by Gioacchino Rossini, Andreas/Cochenille et al. a. o. in "The Tales of Hoffmann", John Wong in the operetta premiere "Wär' nur die Sehnsucht nicht so groß", Jupiter in the baroque opera pastiche "The Gods Must be Crazy" or Neville Landless in the crime musical DAS GEHEIMNIS DES EDWIN DROOD. In addition to his opera career, James Park can be heard as a soloist in concert as well as in smaller ensembles and larger choral formations. He participated with Chorwerk Ruhr and WDR Rundfunkchor in the premiere recording of Ferdinand Ries' opera "Die Räuberbraut". Since the 2017/18 season, he has been part of the opera choir at Theater Krefeld Mönchengladbach. In 2016, the tenor was heard at the, "AchtBrücken" festival at the WDR Funkhaus Cologne with "O sacrum convivium" and "O mare nostrum" by Camille van Lunen. He also appeared in the role of Uggero in the Swiss premiere of Vincenzo Bellini's "Bianca e Fernando" at the "Opera St. Moritz". In the 2016/17 season he filled in as Prince Falling Star in Lincke's "Frau Luna" at the Theater Krefeld-Mönchengladbach. For the production "Der goldene Drache" (music theater by P. Eötvös, director: Petra Luisa Meyer, Mus. Direction: Yorgos Ziavras) James was nominated as NRW's best young singer with his role Young Asian by Opernwelt critic Regine Müller in "Welt am Sonntag".

Annemarie Lauretta was born in Utrecht, the Netherlands. In 2017 she graduated in "Musical Theater" at the Fontys Conservatory in Tilburg. Directly after her studies she went to Hamburg, where she played the role of the fortune teller in the musical Disney's ALADDIN at Stage Theater Neue Flora until the end of October 2018. After that, Annemarie Lauretta appeared in SISTER ACT in Lucerne, Switzerland, as Cover Deloris van Cartier and in the ensemble. This was followed by another engagement for Disney's ALADDIN, this time at the Stage Apollo Theater in Stuttgart, before she appeared in the musical PRETTY WOMAN at the Stage Theater an der Elbe in Hamburg as cover Kit de Luca & Violetta and in the ensemble.

Alexandra-Yoana Alexandrova was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1992 and grew up in Germany. After her Danish baccalaureate with a music and art profile, she moved to Vienna, Austria for further education. There she studied Musical Entertainment Theatre at the MUK - Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien in 2014-2018, while also studying for a Master's degree in Theatre, Film and Media Studies at the University of Vienna, after graduating with a Bachelor's degree in 2014 with a co-enrolment at the University of Applied Arts. Before that, she studied acting for a year at the Schauspielschule Krauss and passed the acting diploma exam at the Paritätische Prüfungskommission der Bühnengewerkschaft Wien in June 2016.

She comes from an artistic family, mother an opera singer and father a ballet dancer, and is therefore very versatile in the profession: Singing, musicals, spoken theatre, dance, modelling, dubbing, dramaturgy, songwriting and photography. She works with various agencies such as Actors & Company as an actress and model in the film, television and advertising industries and is represented in the musical industry by Diabelli Management.

She has performed in the following theatres, among others: Stage Palladium Theater Stuttgart, Vienna State Opera (CARMEN), Schleswig-Holsteinisches Landestheater (SUGGA - SOME LIKE IT HOT), Sofia State Opera and Ballet (LAKMÉ), Schauspielhaus Wien (DIE EREIGNISSE), Theatre der Jugend (GRIMM), Schlossfestspiele Langenlois (DER VOGELHÄNDLER), Felsenbühne Staatz (ARTUS-EXCALIBUR, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR), Det Lille Teater Flensborg (EDITH PIAF) and many more.

She has made several short and feature films (including small roles in the feature films WOMAN IN GOLD and SIE WUSSTE ZUVIEL) and has appeared in the music videos of various pop artists.

On TV she was on "Wien - Tag & Nacht" on ATV and in 2021 she was on the new music comedy show on RTL "I can see your voice", season 2 episode 5. She also filmed several TV commercials for "KIKA", "LIBRO", "YESSS" and "BIPA", among others.

In addition, she has been booked as a singer for various events, such as a soloist for a concert in front of the Danish Crown Prince couple and the musical DIE SCHNEEKÖNIGIN she performed in Schleswig in front of the Danish Queen Margrethe II in the title role. She has toured New York City as a soloist with the choir Lyspiger. She has also done several internships as assistant director in various productions in the theatre and film industry internationally, such as in the National Theatre "Ivan Vazov" Sofia. At the same time, she has taught classical ballet and hip-hop/modern dance for young people in Flensburg and started her vocal pedagogy work.

In 2020, at the "World Championships of Performing Arts Virtual" - Hollywood LA, she won a gold medal in acting, silver in singing and bronze in modelling. She won 1st prize at the "Walter Jurmann Singing and Interpretation Competition" in 2016.

Most recently she sang in concerts such as WE ARE MUSICAL - THE NEXT GENERATION at the Ronacher Theatre VBW and ZIEMLICH GUTE FREUNDE with Mark Seibert and Lukas Perman at the Raimundtheater VBW.

Her most recent engagements include the Stage Palladium Theater in Stuttgart (Stage Entertainment) in the productions ANASTASIA - DAS MUSICAL (Cover Anja and Cross Swing) 2018 and GHOST 2019. In 2020 she would have been seen in the role of Rosalia at the Seefestspiele Mörbisch in WEST SIDE STORY had it not been for the pandemic-related cancellation. In 2020 she filmed the TV commercial for "HSE 24" in Estonia and recorded the singing voice for the TV commercial for "PENNY Markt Österreich". In 2021 she was cast for the first time in the open-air theatre Wilhelmsburg (Theater Ulm) in the role of Mina in the musical DRACULA.

From autumn 2021 she can be seen as the 1st cover (understudy) of the role Ellen in the musical MISS SAIGON at the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien - Raimundtheater.

Art is her path and she dares to follow it with ambition!

Erick Arenas is a versatile performer raised in Cavite, in the Philippines. After graduating with Honors from Marine Transportation Tech, he later earned his degree in AB-Technical Theater from De La Salle College of Saint Benilde. He has since appeared as a performer playing roles in a variety of stage musical productions, such as Cliff and Madonna in WE WILL ROCK YOU, as Eddie in the smash hit musical MAMMA MIA, and as Henry in the Philippines’ first national production of NEWSIES. He has also served Royal Caribbean Productions as a featured dancer, singer, and aerialist aboard 9 ships for almost a decade.

Nils Axelsson is a swedish musical-artist and songwriter from Stockholm.
He grew up in a small town called Hedesunda singing in a children's choir and started working on stage when he was 13 years old in Furuvikspark's summer-shows. Then he started singing at Helges Studio with artists such as Zara Larsson and Molly Sandén (My Marianne).

He won the Broadway Dreams Scholarship 2019 and also won "Best Actor in a musical" in the Broadway World Sweden Awards 2019 for his lead role as Mowgli in JUNGLEBOOK THE MUSICAL on arena tour.
He has also received awards as a musical sing-along host and has traveled around to various cinemas and parks and made shy audiences to burst out in singing in MAMMA MIA-, MOULIN ROUGE-, GREASE- and BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY Sing-Along.
He has also appeared on television in various TV shows, commercials and movies like Queen Christina – The Young Queen and MTV Afternoon Drama.
He has appeared in productions such as SISTER ACT, Ensemble / Cover for TJ and Pablo (Chinateatern, Stockholm) THE ADVENTURE OF ALADDIN, U.S.Aladdin, Swing (Sweden Arenatour), CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR (Gasklockorna, Gävle), THE MAGIC FLUTE 2.0, Pamina's brother Tripp (Parktheatre, Stockholm Tour), the revue SPEAK LOUDER KAREN, the personalized freedom of press (Stockholm Tour) and THE CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS CONCERT (Stockholm Concert Hall).
MISS SAIGON is his debut for a production abroad.

Christopher Bolam was born and raised in Great Britain. As a child, he performed on stage as the Artful Dodger in the England tour of OLIVER. He studied Ballet and Musical Theatre at the Hammond School in Chester, England. After his training he was seen in his home country as Swing in CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG and as cover Tin Man in THE WIZARD OF OZ. His first engagement in Germany was as Swing in WE WILL ROCK YOU in Cologne. There he was also part of the German premiere cast of HAIRSPRAY as Brad. He then toured in Germany as the cover Doody with the ensemble of GREASE and was in the ensemble of ICH WAR NOCH NIEMALS IN NEW YORK in Stuttgart as well as Eddie in MAMMA MIA.

Barbara Castka is a native of Vienna and completed her musical training at the Performing Academy, before which she received dance training at the Ballet Academy of the Vienna State Opera. She gained her first stage experience in ALADDIN JR. and ALICE IM WUNDERLAND JR. at the Wiener Stadthalle, in WIENER BLUT at the Schlossfestspiele Langenlois, a concert of Pasek & Paul at the Ronacher and in the leading role of Morticia in RIGOR MORTIS - DER TOD STEHT UNS GUT! at the Theater Akzent. Her previous engagements include KISS ME, KATE, Graziella in WEST SIDE STORY and Luisa Vampa in DER GRAF VON MONTE CHRISTO (Felsenbühne Staatz), DURCHWURSTELN ODER DURCHWURSCHTELN at the Kabarett Simpl, FRÜHJAHRSPARADE and BOCCACCIO at the Herbsttage Blindenmarkt, JEKYLL & HYDE, Gabrielle in CAN-CAN and Indian Cook/Barbarylla in PETER PAN at the Stadttheater Baden as well as FRED ASTAIRE - EIN LEBEN FÜR DEN TANZ at the Freie Bühne Wieden. Cletus Chan was born and raised in Hong Kong. He attended the University of Warwick where he attained a BA in Theatre and Performance Studies. Cletus then continued his training at Guildford School of Acting where he achieved a MA in Musical Theatre.

Cletus’ recent credits include Ensemble in THE KING AND I (London Palladium), Simon of Legree/Cover Chulalongkorn/LunTha in THE KING AND I (UK & International Tour), Ching Ho in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE (Adelphi Theatre), Eddie in MAMMA MIA! Rachel Chan is excited to make her professional debut in MISS SAIGON Vienna. Born in Singapore in 2001, Rachel grew up as a third culture kid in Tianjin, Hong Kong and Vancouver, where she trained at Victoria Academy of Ballet’s Professional Training Program for dance. At 16, Rachel performed at Carnegie Hall as a prize winner in the American Protégé International Vocal Competition. Notable shows she has performed whilst training include ONCE ON THIS ISLAND (Ti Moune) and WORKING: THE MUSICAL (Freddy Rodriguez).

Jev Davis completed his training at the Urdang Academy in London. He has worked for Crystal Cruises for three years, performed THE SOUND OF MUSIC tour of Australia and danced with the American ILUMINATE GROUP.

In 2018 he performed as Cesar in SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER in Schwäbisch Hall, his first time on stage in a German speaking country. This was followed by engagements such as DANCE OF THE VAMPIRE (understudy Black Vampire) at the Theater des Westens in Berlin, ICH WAR NOCH NIEMALS IN NEW YORK (Swing) at the Thunerseespielen and WEST SIDE STORY (Diesel) at the Staatstheater Nürnberg. Most recently he appeared as Rusty Charlie and Dance Captain in GUYS AND DOLLS at Graz Opera.

He is also a movement director and has worked with companies such as Wallpaper* Magazine, BOYY Boutique, ANB Australia and BRVT.

Leon De Graaf completed his musical education at the Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts in Amsterdam (NL). In 2014 he earned a Bachelor Degree in Performing Arts and Teacher in Dance. He completed part of his studies at the University of Music and Drama in Gothenburg, Sweden. Leon had vocal lessons with Edward Hoepelman and Stephanie Tschöppe, among others, and specialized in Fosse style and tap dance.

He performed as a soloist in JEANS THEATERSHOW - WINGS OF DREAMS (Netherlands tour), was in the ensemble and as Cover Tony and Dance Captain Assistant in BILLY ELLIOT (Stage Entertainment, Scheveningen) and as Swing and Dance Captain Assistant in EVITA (VBW Vienna). Leon played Lyle in FOOTLOOSE (Amstetten), Mike Costa and 1st Cover Paul in A CHORUS LINE (tour Netherlands), as Swing in BILLY ELLIOT (UK tour) and Jimmy 1 in GRAND HOTEL (Stadttheater Baden). He performed in the ensemble from 2017 to 2019 and as Cover Aladdin, Jago and Omar in Disney's ALADDIN (Stage Entertainment, Hamburg and Stuttgart). From November 2018 to May 2019, he also appeared in parallel as Mr. Zlutoslavsky and in the ensemble in EIN AMERIKANER IN PARIS (Landestheater Linz). In 2019-2020 Leon played the role of Chino in WEST SIDE STORY (Staatstheater Nürnberg). He also performed as a soloist in concerts of Stage Entertainment, Stadtheater Baden and the BROADWAY SONGS concert with Sona MacDonald and Angelika Kirchschlager. 

Leon choreographed the operetta DER ZAREWITSCH (Lehár Festival Bad Ischl) in the summer of 2021. Several times he assisted as co-choreographer or assistant to the choreographer in the development of the dance scenes in musicals, such as EVITA, A CHORUS LINE and GRAND HOTEL.

Elies de Vries was born and raised in the Netherlands. In 2019 she completed her education at Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts. During her education she worked with choreographers as Anthony Burrel (choreographer Mariah Carey), Ashley Wallen (choreographer The Greatest Showman) and Lloyd Culbreath from the Verdon Fosse Legacy. Her first engagement was DRS DOWN where she played in the ensemble. She was a dancer for the ladies of soul in the Ziggodome.

Judicel Eslao was born in the Philippines and moved to Great Britain when she was 8 years old. In 2018 she graduated at the London Studio Centre with a BA Hons Degree in Theatre Dance. Theatre whilst training includes - Soul Girl in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, Wendla Bergmann in SPRING AWAKENING, Pilar in LEGALLY BLONDE. In 2020 she made her West End Debut in THE PIRATE QUEEN in Concert at The London Coliseum.

Aynrand Ferrer graduated in 2016 with a degree in Musical Theatre in the UST Conservatory of Music, Philippines. She was also trained in classical singing in the early years of her studies.
Aynrand Ferrer started her professional career in the MISS SAIGON UK & Ireland Tour (2017-2018) as First Cover Kim. She then reprised her role in the MISS SAIGON International Tour (2018-2019).

Mariana Hidemi was born and raised in Brazil, her family is of Japanese origin. She trained in classical ballet at the Escola Municipal de Bailados de São Paulo. Later she received specific training in theatre and music, also in São Paulo. Her entry into musical theatre was in 2008 with the musical AIDA. Afterwards, she performed the role of Rumpleteazer in CATS. She was also in the ensemble in MAMMA MIA as Cover Lisa and in the musical THE ADAMS FAMILY as Liz. For two years she was part of the ensemble of THE LION KING, then in the ensemble of SISTER ACT. Her last engagement in Brazil was the role of Jackson's Five in WE WILL ROCK YOU. Mariana made her European debut in the ensemble of THE LION KING in The Hague, in the Netherlands. She then interpreted the young Anya and Cover Odette in ANASTASIA in Stuttgart, Germany. Her first European tour took her to many cities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with the musical EIN AMERIKANER IN PARIS in the leading role of Lise Dassin.

She has also worked on television, in various international shows with world-renowned director Michael Gracey and choreographer Ashley Wallen (The Greatest Showman), among others.
She currently lives in Vienna. Most recently, Mariana could be admired as Jet-Girl Clarice at the Seefestspiele in Mörbisch.

Fin Holzwart was born in Schleswig-Holstein and completed his musical studies at the Institute of Music at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences in 2015.

He was, among others. CATS, WEST SIDE STORY (Riff), JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, KISS ME KATE, HAIR (Claude), ICH WAR NOCH NIEMALS IN NEW YORK (CV Fred), THRILL ME (Nathan Leopold), ARTUS-EXCALIBUR (Kay), DRACULA (Arthur Holmwood), SHREK (Peter Pan), REBECCA (Robert), LES MISERABLES (Babet), FOOTLOOSE (Ren McCormack), COMPANY (Bobby), SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER and SPAMALOT.

Fin has appeared on stage at the Theater Dortmund, Stadttheater Bremerhaven, Alten Schauspielhaus Stuttgart, Staatstheater Darmstadt, Theater Osnabrück, Staatstheater Oldenburg, Theater für Niedersachsen, Musiktheater im Revier Gelsenkirchen, Bonn Opera, Freilichtspiele Tecklenburg and Thunerseespielen, among others. In the summer of 2021 he celebrated his debut as Riff in WEST SIDE STORY at the Seefestspiele Mörbisch.

Jiho Hwang was born in Korea and studied opera singing at the Catholic University of Korea. He completed his compulsory military service with the Police Band of Korea. Afterwards he was drawn to the world of musicals and began his musical studies at the International Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Jiho Hwang has already appeared on stage as a singer and actor in various plays, and with MISS SAIGON he makes his professional theatre debut.

Peter Knauder was born in Styria and completed his training at the Performing Academy in Vienna. He gained his first stage experience as Nate Gray in Disney's CAMP ROCK - DAS MUSICAL and as Aladdin in ALADDIN JR. at the Wiener Stadthalle. This was followed by engagements such as Paul in A CHORUS LINE directed by Mitzi Hamilton and SIE SPIELEN UNSER LIED in Stockerau, HALLO, DOLLY! Winchester Lopez is a professional jazz and Philippine traditional folk dance artist and teacher. He majored in dance in Philippine High School for the Arts, National Arts Center and took BA Anthropology at the University of the Philippines, Diliman. Whilst at UP, Chester was a lead dancer of UP Filipiniana Dance Group and became the associate artistic director in 2011.

Work includes: performing with a premier jazz and contemporary dance company in the Philippines which included tours to US, Europe and South-East Asia (2004-2009); cast dancer and aerialist in various Royal Caribbean International production shows (2011 to early 2017); ensemble in Song and Dance (Repertory Philippines) and was part of the MISS SAIGON UK and International Tour 2017 to 2019.

Loek Meijer was born in Holland and graduated from the Dutch Academy of Performing Arts in 2016 and the Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts in 2020.

He contributed as a dancer to several dutch TV shows and performed in The Christmas Show at the Ziggodome Amsterdam. He played in the Efteling production of PINOCCHIO, THE MUSICAL and in WINTERREVUE in Antwerp.

Riko Nakazono was born and raised in Japan. As a child, she was a featured dancer on The Disney Channel Japan and won several titles in national dance competitions in Japan. After graduating from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC where she studied musical theatre, she performed in the Stephen Schwartz produced musical THE SECRET SILK as an original cast.

Her other theatre credits include THE 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (Sundog Theatre, NY), MAGIC TO DO (Princess Cruises), MADAME BUTTERFLY (English National Opera) and THE GARDEN OF WORDS [R&D] (Whole Hog Theatre). Her film credits include "Dumplings Over Flowers" (Ego Productions), "ONI" (Experience Pictures) and "The Vagina Musical" (Nothing To Perform). Riko is passionate about telling stories in any medium including dancing, singing, puppeteering, devised theatre and the list goes on.

Mai Linh Nguyenova was born in Slovakia with roots in Vietnam and moved to Austria when she was 11 years old.

She studied Musical Theater at Conservatory in Slovakia for 2 years before switching to  International Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna where she completed her education as Musical Actress in December 2017.

Mai Linh Nguyenova has already appeared on stage as a dancer, singer and actor in various shows and with MISS SAIGON she makes her professional theatre debut. She also works as a Dance teacher and since she speaks 6 languages, she often used her skills as a translator.

Thijs Snoek was born in Mijdrecht, the Netherlands. In 2020 he graduated in Music Theatre at the Fontys Conservatory in Tilburg, where he has taken lessons from Edward Hoepelman, Marc Krone and Daniëlle Waijers. Before his study, in 2015, he played the Dutch and Flemish tour of GREASE THE MUSICAL as Roger produced by Stage Entertainment NL. During his study, in 2019, he played KISS ME, KATE as Gremio produced by Staatstheater Darmstadt. He also works as a voice-actor for TV series in The Netherlands.

Dennis Spee was born in the Netherlands. In 2014 / 2015 he played Mowgli in JUNGLE BOOKTHE MUSICAL in the Netherlands. He was also part of the ensemble of the Magus Utopia show NIGHTMARES which toured France, Italy, Spain and Germany. After training at the Lucia Marthas Institute for Performing Arts, Dennis started his career in Germany in 2016 in the musical STARLIGHT EXPRESS. After 4 years there, he now joins the cast of MISS SAIGON as Cross Swing.

Dana van der Geer was born in Voorburg, the Netherlands. She studied Musical Theatre at the Fontys dance Academy for three years before switching to the renowed Musical Theatre program at the Fontys Conservatory. In 2019 she graduated from the conservatory with her own show ALICANTE. During her last year at school, she started as ensemble/ Cover Sophie at MAMMA MIA! in Utrecht, The Netherlands. This year she was assistant to director Koen van Dijk and Choreographer Roy Jonathans at Spring Awakening.

Stef van Gelder was born in Holland and graduated from Fontys Conservatory Tilburg in 2015, where his singing teachers were Edward Hoepelman and Ivar Costenoble. He took part in numerous workshops and masterclasses, including one by Pia Douwes. In the Netherlands, his roles have included Boland in DOGFIGHT and Jason in ORDINARY DAYS. He was a member of the Dutch barbershop quartet “The Jukebox Boys” and has worked on numerous productions as a puppeteer. His most recent appearance in Germany was in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s LOVE NEVER DIES.

Aday Velasco started his training as a singer and gymnast at the age of eight. He learned various disciplines such as artistic gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics. But this was not enough for him and so he combined both disciplines with another one - aerial acrobatics.

He is currently continuing his training in these areas as well as acting and singing.

He worked for Costa Cruises for 4 years and for Celebrity Cruises for about 3 years with the Farfadais company. There he held the position of Specialty Act and Aerial Captain.

In 2019 he was an acrobatic dance soloist for the Vivid Grand Show at the Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin.

Sian is originally from Singapore. She trained in the UK at Bird College, where she gained her BA(Hons) in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. Since graduating, she has appeared on stage as an ensemble member in MISS SAIGON (UK & International Tour), and THE KING AND I (UK & International Tour). Sian will be making her debut in Austria with MISS SAIGON.

Born in Vienna with Japanese roots, she completed both her training and the parity examination to become a musical performer, each with a diploma from the Sunrise Studios Conservatory in Vienna. Previously, she studied Liberal Arts with a major in History at Sophia University in Tokyo/Japan and graduated with a Bachelor (B.A.). In Austria she played Connie Wong in A CHORUS LINE directed by Baayork Lee at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt, where she also appeared as Yoko in the production MARS 2036. At Landestheater Linz she appeared as Frau Pleti/Ensemble in IN 80 TAGEN UM DIE WELT and at the same theatre as one of the Geminae in the German language production of Stephen Sondheim's A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM. In Germany she started as the lead and soloist in the revue show SAYONARA TOKYO at the Wintergarten Berlin, followed by her engagement as an ensemble member in DER GLÖCKNER VON NOTRE DAME at the Apollo Theater Stuttgart. At the Luisenburg Festival she appeared on stage as Marty in GREASE and as an ensemble member in MADAGASCAR. She also works as a dance teacher, songwriter, composer and translator.
