Cast is announced
Due to the great success of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR in the last years, the VEREINIGTEN BÜHNEN WIEN brings Andrew Lloyd Webber’s and Time Rice’s popular rock opera on stage during Easter again.
As part of the VBW concert series MUSICAL IN CONCERT, the musical will be presented as a concert performance, in English, for eight performances in the Ronacher.
Cast is announced
As in the last productions, hugely popular Drew Sarich will play “Jesus”, Marjan Shaki plays “Maria Magdalena” and Sasha Di Capri is “Judas”. Andreas Lichtenberger, who currently can be seen as “Don Camillo” in DON CAMILLO & PEPPEONE, plays “Herodes”, Kurosch Abassi is “Annas” and Marc Clear will play “Pilatus”. Like in the year 2015, the production is directed by Werner Sobotka.
