#STAYSAFE @ RAIMUND THEATER
The health of our audience is our top priority. Your visit to the theater is important to us, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
The website is updated regularly and adapted to the measures currently in force by the Austrian federal government. Since there are unfortunately also short-term adjustments due to changes in the regulation, we ask you to inform yourself again about the applicable regulations shortly before your visit to the theater. Many Thanks!
Miss Saigon's previews start in November, the premiere can be seen on December 3, 2021 in the Raimund Theater.
Due to the prescribed minimum distance, the VBW have reduced the number of available seats in the Raimund Theater until further notice. We are striving to allocate seats in accordance with COVID-19, and we very much regret that the reduction in seats is also accompanied by adaptations in the seating plan.
Tickets bought before January 20, 2020
Customers who bought their ticket in 2019 or 2020 have already been contacted by our ticket partner WIEN TICKET by email in January 2021. If you have not received an email with your replacement date and COVID-compliant seat ticket, or if you are unable to keep your replacement date, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org directly.
Tickets purchased after January 20, 2020
Seating plan booking
It is now possible to purchase seats by booking the seating plan.
During the COVID-19-compliant seating plan booking, bookings of a maximum of 4 tickets are only possible. With every booking, a seat is automatically left free for the next booking. For bookings of more than 4 tickets, we ask you to make a second booking.
You will receive your print@home tickets by email when you make your booking.
Please show your print@home ticket printed out or on your mobile phone when entering the theater. At musicalvienna.at you can also print out your print@home tickets (duplicates) again at any time after logging in under "Service".
We ask you not to change your seat. As a COVID-19 prevention, standing tickets cannot be offered until further notice.
We open our houses for you an hour before the start of the performance. The auditorium is also open at this time, so that you can take your seats in good time.
Help us to make the evening at the theatre as safe as possible for everyone by keeping the minimum distance of 1 meter as far as possible throughout the theatre and complying with the obligation to protect the mouth and nose in the entire theatre - including during the performance. This also applies to visitors with a certificate exempting them from the mask requirement.
In addition to the usual hand hygiene, numerous disinfectant dispensers are available throughout the house.
To avoid crowds, the VBW open their theatres one hour before the start of the performance. The auditorium is also open to you at this point.
We ask you to support us in avoiding waiting situations in cloakrooms, toilets etc. by coming to the theatre early.
Please note: There is currently no late entry to the performance for any of the VBW houses! If there is a break, you can, of course, take your seats in the second half.
Leaving the building:
We ask you to comply with the distance rules even after the theatre performance and when leaving the houses. Many Thanks!
You can find the opening times of the VBW box offices HERE.
We ask for your understanding that, for reasons of contact tracing, tickets can only be sold by providing your contact details. The collection and use of your data is of course in line with the GDPR. It is only accessed when the need arises.
The name of the buyer is noted on all admission tickets.
In the case of a Corona Cluster, the ticket buyer must be able to inform the Vienna Medical Directorate who attended the performance on request. Please also note this when passing on cards!
Our terms & conditions can be found here.
The VBW theaters have modern systems for room ventilation. These are 100% fresh air systems. The air in the room is generated outdoors, filtered, conditioned and brought into the auditorium via the floor and extracted through the ceiling. This ensures (even before COVID-19) the supply of pure conditioned outside air. Both the ventilation frequency and the air exchange rate were increased. 36m3 of air is exchanged per visitor. In addition, the shock ventilation is activated in the rear spectator area, which enables the exchange of 45m3 per hour per person. Our filters are exchanged at regular intervals.
Continuous surface disinfection
During the routine cleaning of the venues, both areas such as Handrails, door handles, railings etc. as well as complete open spaces such as floors are disinfected.
