Big musical festival at the start of the season at the Raimund Theater

Just in time for the start of the season, the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien are hosting the big musical festival WE ARE MUSICAL in and around the Raimund Theater on 19 September 2026, from 12 noon to 5 pm! Visitors can once again look forward to a varied afternoon at the historic musical theatre this year. Musical fans of all ages can look forward to a varied programme – from exciting glimpses behind the scenes and insights into the thrilling day-to-day theatre life of the VBW staff to a creative craft station for the little ones, and much more besides.

As part of a backstage tour, you will learn a lot about the history of the house, step onto the stage and take a look at the otherwise concealed complex technical facilities. Join us on our way through our house, change your perspective and let yourself be inspired by the exciting world of theater business.

Important information: The guided tours are held in German, are limited to a maximum of 25 people for safety reasons and the backstage area is not barrier-free.
