Big graduate concert of the MUK on 22 June 2026 at the Raimund Theater

WE ARE MUSICAL – THE NEXT GENERATION

Clear the stage for the stars of tomorrow: on 22 June 2026, the Raimund Theater will serve as a stage for the next generation of musical theatre talent for one evening. The Vereinigte Bühnen Wien (VBW) and the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna (MUK) are presenting the successful concert series WE ARE MUSICAL – THE NEXT GENERATION for the eighth time.

The focus is on the graduates of the Institute for Musical Entertainment Theatre (MUNTER), who will present highlights from the world of musicals in a varied programme. The concert offers an exclusive insight into their training and simultaneously marks the transition to their professional careers.

In 2026, too, visitors can look forward to special musical moments: alongside the young talents, selected star guests will take to the stage together with the graduates. The evening will be hosted by director and MUK lecturer Werner Sobotka and MUNTER Institute Director Alex Riener. Musical accompaniment will be provided by a live band conducted by Peter Uwira.
