Big graduate concert of the MUK on 22 June 2026 at the Raimund Theater

WE ARE MUSICAL – THE NEXT GENERATION

The stage is set for the stars of tomorrow: on 22 June 2026, the Raimund Theater became a stage for the next generation of musical theatre talent for one evening. The Vereinigte Bühnen Wien (VBW) and the City of Vienna’s Private University of Music and the Arts (MUK) presented the successful concert series WE ARE MUSICAL – THE NEXT GENERATION for the eighth time.

The spotlight was on the graduates of the Institute for Musical Entertainment Theatre (MUNTER), who presented highlights from the world of musicals in a varied programme. The concert offered an exclusive insight into their training and, at the same time, marked the transition to their professional careers.

In 2026, too, visitors were treated to some special musical moments: Alongside the young talents, star guests Carin Filipčić and Lukas Perman took to the stage together with the graduates. The evening was hosted by director and MUK lecturer Werner Sobotka and MUNTER Institute Director Alex. Riener. Musical accompaniment was provided by a live band conducted by Peter Uwira.
