I'm a hit - and you don't even know it

I'm a hit - and you do not even know it! True to this motto - from the current West End hit Everybody's Talking About Jamie - the cooperation between Vereinigte Bühnen Wien (VBW) and the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien (MUK) will continue after the successful premiere last year: The VBW and the MUK will present an evening on Thursday, June 28, 2018 dedicated to the musical stars of tomorrow.

The MUK graduates of this year's graduation class present highlights from their bachelor shows. Guests at this special concert are well-known stars who also completed their studies at the MUK. Werner Sobotka leads through the evening.

An evening in the spirit of promoting young talent - with the stars of today and tomorrow!

  • Under the title WE ARE MUSICAL - THE NEXT GENERATION, last year we created a concert by graduates dedicated to the respective graduating class. The promotion of young artistic personalities is once again the focus of this event. For years, MUK students have worked hard for their education. Together with renowned colleagues from the industry, also MUK graduates, they can show what they have learned on stage and gain their first experience in front of an audience

  • With WE ARE MUSICAL - THE NEXT GENERATION, we want to give young talents a stage and thus promote the next generation of musical theater. On this special evening, graduates have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in front of a large audience. At the same time, they can share the stage with well-known names from the musical scene. I am delighted that this year, too, we have succeeded in attracting the stars of today and tomorrow, who see this cooperation as a sign of the close ties between their educational institution and the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien. I would also like to thank the City of Vienna, which has appreciated and promoted the musical genre for many decades
