    Tertia Botha received her artistic training in her home town of Cape Town. From 1998 to 2000 she played Lucy Dixon in the musical KAT AND THE KINGS at Vienna's English Theatre and on tour in Europe. From 2001 to 2003, she sang in the live cover band Uncle Jam, including in the BBC show “Live from the Hard Rock Café Dubai”. In 2003, she reached the final of the Pro7 casting show “Popstars” and then enjoyed great success with the band Preluders, selling 400,000 records and reaching number one in the German charts with the single “Everyday Girl”. After leaving the band, her path led her to musicals, where she appeared on stage in HAIR (Stadttheater Augsburg and Kassel), DIRTY DANCING (Theater am Potsdamer Platz), MOTOWN - DIE LEGENDE (Essen) and WEST SIDE STORY (Staatstheater Braunschweig), among others. She founded a society to support artists from South Africa and performed his world hit “My heart will go on” from the film “Titanic” for Oscar winner James Horner. She also went on tour with CLASSICS UNTER STERNEN and SOUNDS OF HOLLYWOOD with the Vogtland Philharmonic Orchestra. In Cologne, she has already performed as Nicki Marron and Cover Rachel Marron in BODYGUARD - DAS MUSICAL. From 2017 to 2018 she was on tour with JAGD AUF 007 - EINE NACHT MIT JAMES BOND.

    Makeda comes from Bonn and initially studied business administration. During this time, she was already active as a singer, composer and lyricist.
    Since then, the young, versatile singer has been able to prove her talent on countless stages, both in Germany and internationally - whether at big band concerts, with greats such as Pee Wee Ellis or as a backing singer on the TV show “The Voice of Germany”, with which she went on tour. As the lead singer of her own band Steal a Taxi, Makeda played a concert in Chengdu, China, as a cultural ambassador for the city of Bonn, was accepted into the pop camp of a German pop music band promotion program and was invited to perform at the German President's summer party. Makeda gained her first musical experience in the Cologne production of BODYGUARD - DAS MUSICAL as cover Rachel Marron and cover Nicki Marron. In 2018, Makeda focused on songwriting and her first EP. In 2019, she took part in the preliminary round of the German entry for the ESC.

    While still training as an actor, Jo Weil took on a leading role in the TV series “Verbotene Liebe”. This earned him several awards and an international fan base. At the same time, he played a leading role in the series “Medicopter 117” (ORF/RTL) for two years and appeared in four episodes of “Tatort Dortmund” as callboy Toni. On TV, he also had longer roles in the series “Rote Rosen” and “Alles was zählt” as well as appearances in “Soko München”, “Die Rosenheim-Cops”, “In aller Freundschaft” and “Koslowski und Haferkamp”, among others. In 2016, he took on his first English-language lead role in the British film “Sodom”. In the same year, he also appeared in front of the camera for the horror film “The Toymaker”. He was nominated for Best Actor at the Irish RHIFF Festival for his performance in the British drama “Lula”. He recently took on the title role in the feature film “Oskar - Gehen, wenn's am schönsten ist”. He is also at home on stage and has performed several times at the Komödie Düsseldorf. He has toured Germany and Switzerland with the plays GANZE KERLE and LANDEIER. Jo Weil also works as a presenter, hosting shows such as “Lifestyle mit Jo Weil” for Wirtschaft TV, as well as galas and events. In 2017, he was a contestant on the RTL dance show “Dance Dance Dance”.

    Ana Milva Gomes is Dutch with Cape Verdean roots and studied in Amsterdam. She moved to the German-speaking world for Nehebka and later the title role in AIDA. Engagements in LION KING and Disney's TARZAN followed, and she also appeared as a soloist in BEST OF MUSICAL. At the VBW, she has appeared on stage as Deloris van Cartier in SISTER ACT, Maria Magdalena in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR and Paulette Buonufonté in NATÜRLICH BLOND. In MAMMA MIA! she embodied the world's first dark-skinned Donna and was nominated for the Austrian Music Theatre Award for the role of Baroness von Waldstätten in MOZART! Further engagements included Betty Jean in WINTER WONDERETTES/ Kammerspiele, Oda Mae Brown in GHOST - DAS MUSICAL/Linz, Inez in ZORRO and the title role in CARMEN/ Winzendorf, Shug Avery in DIE FARBE LILA/Amsterdam and Justice Charlier in ROCK OF AGES/Amstetten. She was a finalist in the 11th season of "Dancing Stars" and received the Broadway- World Austria Award for the best supporting role in a musical for her impersonation of Nicki Marron in BODYGUARD - DAS MUSICAL (VBW). Most recently she appeared on stage as Grizabella in CATS at the Ronacher.

    Martin Muliar grew up in Vienna and attended the Gustav Mahler Conservatory for Music and Performing Arts, where he completed his acting studies in 1999. During his engagements at the Theater in der Josefstadt, the Salzburger Landestheater as well as in Graz and Coburg, he played Shakespeare, Rainald Götz, Nestroy, Tschechow and Michael rayn, among others. He has appeared in the musicals MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT and EVITA as well as in the operettas IM WEISSEN RÖSSL and DIE FLEDERMAUS. For television, he filmed “Vier Frauen und ein Todesfall” and appeared in “Der Bergdoktor”, “Die Rosenheim-Cops”, the Alpine crime thriller “Meiberger” and various “Sokos”. He also appeared in the ORF Universum history production “Maria Theresia” and played art patron Carl Reininghaus in the feature film “Schiele - Tod & Mädchen” by Dieter Berner. He organizes readings in which he wittily juxtaposes poets such as Hebbel and Nestroy and their controversial views on the classical figures Judith and Holofernes. His voice can also be heard on numerous audio books and audio guides. His current, successful in-house production DER WURM IM WIENERHERZ can be seen in Vienna and the provinces. After MAMMA MIA! he now returns to the VBW with BODYGUARD - DAS MUSICAL.

    Since his studies at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna, Andreas Kammerzelt has worked in various genres of music and spoken theater. He appeared as Frith in the original cast of REBECCA at the Raimund Theater. Guest engagements have taken him to the Vereinigte Bühnen Bozen, the Bühne Baden and the Theater St. Gallen, where he played Don Quixote in DER MANN VON LA MANCHA and Sethos in the world premiere of MOSES - DIE ZEHN GEBOTE. Other roles have included Caiaphas in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, Francis in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, Squash in VICTOR/VICTORIA and Utterson in JEKYLL & HYDE. Most recently, he was the herald in the pop oratorio LUTHER throughout Germany. He was engaged as Sarastro in a guest performance in Japan and as a soloist in the productions DANTONS TOD and MASS at the Neue Oper Wien. He played Johnny in HAPPY END at the Volkstheater and Biberti in the world premiere of COMEDIAN HARMONISTS in Klagenfurt. He has also played a wide variety of roles in various productions at the Theater der Jugend Wien. His extensive voiceover work also includes dubbing work, advertising campaigns and various productions for TV and radio stations.

    Nicolas Tenerani trained as an actor at the Scuola Professione Cinema in Rome. He has subsequently appeared in a range of TV, radio and theatre productions. In Italy, he played the eponymous hero in the musical SHREK, Joey and Monsignore in SISTER ACT, Baloo in THE JUNGLE BOOK, Friar Tuck in ROBIN HOOD, Captain Hook in PETER PAN and Cassius in the rock opera OTHELLO. He first came to Germany to play Joey and Curtis Jackson in SISTER ACT at the Metronom Theater in Oberhausen, followed by Sam Jacobson and Harry Beck in MAMMA MIA, also at the Metronom. He has played previously Chagal in the German Stage Entertainment production of DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES. Nicolas Tenerani has also performed his own Sinatra concert “Cheek to Cheek” at the traditional Milan jazz club Blue Note, and played the lead role of Barile in the TV film “L'uomo die Nomadelfia”. For Italian radio, he has played various parts in the radio cycle “A viva voce”, as well as working as a dubbing artist.

    Ulrich Allroggen completed his training in acting and musicals at the Schauspielschule Bühnenstudio Hamburg. He subsequently appeared on stage as Enjolras in LES MISÉRABLES, Simon Stride in JEKYLL & HYDE, and Leopold in MOZART! He embodied the leading roles Sky Masterson in GUYS AND DOLLS, Petrucchio in KISS ME, KATE and Professor Higgins in MY FAIR LADY. At Stage Entertainment Ulrich Allroggen could be seen as Bill in MAMMA MIA!, Axel in ICH WAR NOCH NIEMALS IN NEW YORK and Scar in DER KÖNIG DER LÖWEN. For BODYGUARD he came to Vienna, where he also played George in ASPECTS OF LOVE. Most recently he could be seen in Nuremberg as President Chamoix in MÄRCHEN IM GRAND HOTEL.

    Philipp Dietrich completed his training as a musical performer at the Joop van den Ende Academy in Hamburg, under the direction of Perrin Manzer Allen, and successfully graduated in 2012. His first engagements took him to the Theater Bielefeld, where he was seen in the title role of Tommy in THE WHO'S TOMMY and in DIE HEXEN VON EASTWICK. Afterwards his way led him to the Theater des Westens in Berlin for GEFÄHRTEN. Furthermore he was on stage in TITANIC - DAS MUSICAL, DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES, FLASHDANCE, ARTUS - EXCALIBUR, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (as Jesus), as well as in BODYGUARD at the VBW. In 2021 he was part of the ensemble of DER SCHUH DES MANITU. Most recently he thrilled in PRETTY WOMAN as cover Edward Lewis & Phil Stucky and in TINA TURNER - DAS MUSICAL.

    ALEXANDER DINELARIS is an Academy Award and Golden Globe winner for the screenplay of Birdman (or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance). Most recently, Alex adapted the novel Entering Hades into a feature film. Alex is currently adapting his play, Still Life into a feature film, which he will direct early next year. His film, The Year of the Monarchs is in development with Mandalay Entertainment. Alexander is the book writer of The Bodyguard Musical and of Gloria and Emilio Estefan’s Broadway musical On Your Feet! Other recent work includes his plays: Red Dog Howls (New York Theater Workshop); Still Life (Manhattan Class Company); The Chaos Theories (Shotgun Theater); and In This, Our Time (Summer Shorts 2011, 59E59). Mr. Dinelaris is a proud member of the Writer’s Guild and the Dramatists Guild.

    In 2000 Thea won the James Menzies-Kitchin young director of the year award, making her directorial debut with a production of Caryl Churchill's Top Girls, which transferred to the west end and toured the UK twice.

    Thea was then made Britain's youngest artistic director when she took over the Southwark Playhouse for three years, before then going on to be the artistic director of the Gate Theatre in Notting Hill. Since then as a freelance director, her credits include productions for the Almeida and the Donmar, the National Theatre and many in the west end including Equus with Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths (also Broadway), The Misanthrope with Keira Knightly, Heroes with John Hurt, Cause Célèbre with Anne-Marie Duff at the Old Vic. Her production of After The Dance for the National Theatre won 8 major awards.

    She has also directed Henry V starring Tom Hiddleston for Sam Mendes/Neal Street and the BBC, as well as the 2013 Christmas Special of Call The Midwife also for Neal Street and the BBC. She directed Richard Griffiths in his last stage performance, in The Sunshine Boys with Danny DeVito at the Savoy Theatre before directing her first musical, The Bodyguard at the Adelphi. The Bodyguard has gone onto play all over the world including, America, Australia, South Korea, Germany and China.  She directed Miranda Hart in her arena tour for 2014, as well as Kevin Spacey in his first one-man show, Darrow for the Old Vic.

    Thea’s debut feature film, Me Before You, an adaptation of Jojo Moyes’ novel for MGM starring Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin, broke $200 million at the box ofiice.

    She is currently developing a musical with Working Title Films, as well as a new play produced by Sam Mendes’ Neal Street, while in Pre-Production for Disney’s live action film The One And Only Ivan, due for release in 2019.

    Herbert Pichler graduated from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. He has been working as an artist in Vienna since 1989 and also teaches at the Institute for Popular Music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. He was musical director of, among others, MISS SAIGON, BARBARELLA, HAIR, MAMMA MIA! and BODYGUARD (all VBW), the new version of CABARET with Maria Bill (Volkstheater Wien) and the TV show "Ein Saitensprung" with Rainhard Fendrich. He has worked as a conductor for productions such as DER BAUER ALS MILLIONÄR (Landestheater Linz), "Musical!- Die Show" (ORF 2007) and I AM FROM AUSTRIA (VBW). Since the first season of the ORF show "Dancing Stars" he has also been the conductor of the Star Orchestra. Other examples of his varied musical activities include orchestral projects with Thomas Quasthoff, the mdw project CUBE, musical direction of the Nestroy Theater Prize, collaboration with the Mozarteum Chamber Orchestra and several projects with Herbert Pixner and the Tonkünstler Orchestra. As an arranger and musician, Herbert Pichler has worked on CD productions and TV shows with artists* such as Nina Hagen, Marianne Faithful and Chaka Khan, with whom he worked on the opening of the Vienna Festival in 2005, as well as with The Supremes, Harry Belafonte, Patricia Kaas, Placido Domingo, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, Jos. Carreras, Luciano Pavarotti, Dave Stewart, Jim Steinman, Simply Red, Gloria Gaynor and many musical stars.
