VBW's internationally successful Elisabeth production, penned by the successful duo Michael Kunze & Sylvester Levay, will be shown on July 5 and 6, 2019 as a very special concert experience in the courtyard of Schönbrunn Palace. The famous historical backdrop provides a worthy and unique ambience for the concert version of the musical, which tells the dramatic and touching story of the life, work and suffering of Empress Elisabeth of Austria.

With top-class soloists and ensemble, accompanied by the orchestra of the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien in a large line-up, the audience can look forward to one of the event highlights of 2019. The concert version of the most successful German-language musical of all time will be poignantly staged at the original location for the first time.
