Seniors aged 60 and over receive a 20% discount for selected performances (marked with a blue dot) in the categories VIP GOLD-D marked with the blue dot (max. 2 tickets per person can be booked, both must fulfil the requirements for the senior discount - random checks of the age limit on the day of the performance).

Junior-Ticket
Children and young people up to the age of 16 accompanied by at least one adult receive a 35% discount in the categories VIP GOLD-D for selected performances (marked with an orange dot). The Junior-Ticket can be used by a maximum of 3 children accompanied by an adult. The discount can also be booked in combination with a discounted adult ticket.

Physically Challenged
Wheelchair with accompaniment:
Available from all VBW box offices and by telephone on +43 1 58885 - 111. Book at least one week before the desired performance at only € 10,- for Wheelchair admission. Your companion will recieve a 50% reduction on the ticket price. Available for the categories A-D.

Physically challenged:
50% discount upon presentation of a valid "Disability ID Pass". A registered companion (B, Begleitperson erforderlich) may also recieve a 50% redution on the ticket fare. A discounted ticket for non-registered companions is not possible. Available for the categories VIP GOLD-D. Available from all VBW box offices and by telephone on +43 1 58885 - 111.
EDUTICKET
€ 20,- tickets for pupils, students, apprentices, military and civilian servants (with appropriate proof of eligibility - will be checked on site!) and voluntary social year participants.

INCLUSIVE MUSICAL EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYONE

On 15 March 2026, a ‘relaxed performance’ of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA will take place for the second time at the Raimund Theater. This will once again be realised in cooperation with Österreichische Autistenhilfe. A ‘relaxed performance’ is a performance adapted for people with disabilities, people with learning difficulties or neurodiversity (including autism, ADHD), but which can be attended by everyone. During the performance, sensory stimuli such as loud noises and strong lighting effects are reduced or adapted. In addition, the auditorium remains lightly lit throughout the performance and it is possible to leave and return at any time.

Take a look behind the scenes!

As part of a backstage tour, you will learn a lot about the history of the house, step onto the stage and take a look at the otherwise concealed complex technical facilities. Join us on our way through our house, change your perspective and let yourself be inspired by the exciting world of theater business.

Please note:

Our tours take about an hour and have no break.
The tours are held in German. English tours are currently not available.
The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 25 persons for security reasons.
Our backstage tours are not barrier-free.
Our tours start at the main entrance of the theater in Wallgasse 18-20, 1060 Vienna.
