Sebastian Brandmeir graduated in Musical Performance from the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna, having previously studied Music Pedagogy at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich, with piano and trumpet as his main subjects. He has been choirmaster and musical supervisor for numerous projects, as well as composing the musicals TEE UM DREI (premiere Vienna 2012) and THE MISANTHROPE – RELOADED, for which he won the Media and Audience Prize at the international Music and Entertainment Theatre Writers’ Competition. In Austria, he has appeared in AIDA, as well as playing Rochefort in 3 MUSKETEERS, Cladwell in URINETOWN, Steppke in FRAU LUNA and Wilkinson in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS.  He won the Karl-Heinz Walther Acting Prize for his performance as Chantal in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES at the Grenzlandtheater Aachen. Subsequent performances in Germany include Falscher Hase in SCHUH DES MANITU, Little Thunder in YAKARI, the Butler in JOSEPH, Manfred in SUNSET BOULEVARD, THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO, SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER and the Priest in ARTUS-EXCALIBUR. He went on tour with ELISABETH to Shanghai, Essen, Munich and Linz covering Lucheni and as a swing before appearing at the Raimund Theater in Vienna covering Fridolin in MOZART!. He also played Professor Abronsius in the new St Gallen production of DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES.
