In autumn the musical singer Maya Hakvoort celebrates her 50th birthday and holds a concert on October 17th on the occasion of her anniversary in the Vienna Raimund Theater.

At this concert, the charming Dutch woman takes a foray through her musical career from her first musical GAUDI, which she played in Aachen, to her current musical Don Camillo & Peppone, which she currently plays in St. Gallen and will play in Ronacher in Vienna from 2017 ,

She will be accompanied by the Rens Newland Band, which fans should be particularly familiar with from Voices of Musical. In addition, the audience can expect many well-known friends with whom Maya Hakvoort has already worked in the course of her career. has performed on stage in Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Germany and Japan and with whom she will also sing this evening. Musical surprises include Rob Fowler, André Bauer, Andreas Lichtenberger, Kevin Tarte, Ramesh Nair, Lukas Perman and Marjan Shaki, to name just a few. The entertainer Maya Hakvoort leads through the evening and promises a varied evening with many musical highlights and some entertaining anecdotes from her life.

In her birthday concert on October 17, 2016, Maya Hakvoort will musically pick up some of these stages from her life and ensure a varied evening.

Maya Hakvoort oder auch als Österreichs Musical-Sissi bekannt, kann bereits im jungen Alter von 50 Jahren auf eine großartige Karriere zurückblicken. Ihre umfangreiche Bühnenerfahrung umfasst zahlreiche Hauptrollen in großen Musicalproduktionen wie „Elisabeth“, „Les Misérables“, „Jekyll & Hyde“, „Evita“, „Die 3 Musketiere“, „Victor/Victoria“ , „Rebecca“, “Sunset Boulevard“ , „Cats“ oder „Next to Normal“

Zudem produzierte sie einige erfolgreich Solo-Programme wie „Maya goes solo“, „In My Life“, „Maya´s Musical Life“ und „This is my life“. 

In den letzten Jahren widmete sich Maya Hakvoort intensiv ihren Tour-Projekten und produzierte mit Musicalfreunden wie Mark Seibert, Marjan Shaki, Lukas Perman, Ramesh Nair, The Rounder Girls, Missy May und  The Sophisticated Showstars ,„Voices of Musical“ und „Voices of Musical Christmas“. Vor allem das Format „4 Voices of Musical“ erfreute sich in Österreich an großer Beliebtheit.

    The VBW’s internationally successful production ELISABETH, penned by the crack team of Michael Kunze & Sylvester Levay, will be performed from the 25th to the 27th of June 2020 as an exceptional concert experience in the grand forecourt of Schönbrunn Palace.

    The famous historical setting provides a unique and dignified backdrop for the concert version of the musical, which tells the dramatic and moving story of the life, loves and tribulations of Empress Elisabeth of Austria.
