Ricardo Frenzel Baudisch studied painting at Düsseldorf Art Academy, and acting and classical singing in Stuttgart and Berlin. From 2006 to 2009, he was a member of the soloists’ ensemble at the Theater Freiburg. In 2009, he moved to the Theater am Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, where he took over the role of Neil Kellerman in DIRTY DANCING. Since 2011 he has worked on a freelance basis at numerous venues, including theatres in Basle and Giessen, and the State Theatre in Stuttgart. In operettas and operas, his roles include Armando Cellini in MASK IN BLUE, Symon in THE BEGGAR STUDENT and Spoletta in TOSCA. Other artistic activities include concerts for the Bavarian Broadcasting Service in Munich, appearances at various festivals all across Europe, and a newly released CD of operetta songs.
