Tobias Joch was born in Thüringen and trained in musical theatre at the Joop van den Ende Academy in Hamburg. While he was at the Academy, his roles included George in THE ACTOR’S NIGHTMARE, Stan in DAMES AT SEA and Rocky in THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, and he also appeared at the Stage Club Hamburg in the concert PASEK & PAUL – INTRODUCING DOGFIGHT. In the summer of 2014, Tobias Joch appeared in Elton John‘s AIDA at the  Lake Thun Festival, before going on tour with SHREK – THE MUSICAL (Peter Pan) in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He played Bernardo in ZORRO – THE MUSICAL and Coricopat in CATS at the Freilichtspiele Tecklenburg. His most recent role was Raoul Vicomte de Chagny in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA at the Stage Metronom Theater in Oberhausen.
