Katie Hall Maria Anna Miller
Katie Hall trained at the National Youth Music Theatre. She played Johanna in SWEENEY TODD at the English National Opera alongside Emma Thompson and Bryn Terfel. She has also played Maria in WEST SIDE STORY (UK Tour), Christine in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA (UK tour; Her Majesty's Theatre, London; Royal Albert Hall, London 25th anniversary concert) and Cosette in LES MISÉRABLES (Queen's Theatre, London; international Tour; O2 Arena, London 25th anniversary). She has also appeared in numerous TV series. She was a make-up artist in “Josh” (BBC Three), she was a final round contender for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s search for the Eurovision entry in “Eurovision: Your Country Needs You” (BBC), and a boot camp finalist in “I’d Do Anything” (BBC). Katie Hall also appeared in the Oscar-nominated film “Les Misérables”, directed by Tom Hooper. Her most recent role was Hodel in ANATEVKA (Grange Park Opera). She took part in preparatory workshops for the musical SCHIKANEDER and her appearance for the VBW constitutes her debut in the German-speaking world.
