Gareth Owen has won several Olivier Awards and nominations for Best Sound Design (MEMPHIS, MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, END OF THE RAINBOW, TOP HAT) as well as Tony Award nominations (END OF THE RAINBOW, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC). In 2015, he won the Pro Sound Award for Best Theatre Sound. He has created the sound design for several Broadway hits, including A BRONX TALE, COME FROM AWAY, SPRING AWAKENING and THE SECRET GARDEN. He has created the sound design for Disney productions all over the world, including THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, THE LITTLE MERMAID and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. His sound designs can be heard all over the world in shows like BODYGUARD (the Netherlands), LET IT BE (Broadway, London, Japan, China, Russia, Brazil, Italy, Germany), TITANIC – THE MUSICAL (Toronto), SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN (UK, Russia, Japan, Germany, Australia), EVITA (Las Vegas, Slovenia, Lebanon), HAIRSPRAY (UK, China, Singapore, Malaysia), THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW (UK, Australia), A CHORUS LINE (Israel), SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER (Korea, Spain, Taiwan) and CATS (International Arena Tour). He has enjoyed enormous success in the London West End with productions of MEMPHIS, I CAN’T SING, IN THE HEIGHTS, IMPOSSIBLE, TOP HAT, PIPPIN, MIDNIGHT TANGO, ANATEVKA, ASPECTS OF LOVE, CAROUSEL, SHOUT!, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, FORBIDDEN BROADWAY, HIGH SOCIETY, THE LAST 5 YEARS and LA CAGE AUX FOLLES.
