Not only coffee houses, Fiaker & Schnitzel shape the life of Vienna, also the extensive cultural landscape is a not inconsiderable component of a unique DNA, which makes our city one of the world's most liveable.
The true musical triumph of the legendary house began after major refurbishments in the mid-1980s, and integration into the VBW. A CHORUS LINE, in 1987, was the first of the major Broadway Show Collection performed. This laid the foundation for the rise of the RAIMUND THEATER as the first choice for musicals on a large scale.
What can you see and learn during a tour of the Raimund Theater?
As part of a backstage tour, you will learn a lot about the history of the house, step onto the stage and take a look at the otherwise concealed complex technical facilities. Join us on our way through our house, change your perspective and let yourself be inspired by the exciting world of theater business.

How long does a backstage tour take in the Raimund Theater?
Our tours take about an hour and have no break.
In which language does the leadership take place?
The tours are held in German. English tours are currently not available.
Is there a participant limit?
The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 25 persons for security reasons.
Is the tour barrier-free?
No, our backstage tours are not barrier-free.
Where is the meeting point for tours in Raimund Theater?
The groups gather at the main entrance of the theater in Wallgasse 18-20 (1060 Wien)
Is it possible to book exclusive group tours?
