Shane Dickson originally hails from Texas but has lived in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for over eleven years. He made his first professional appearance in a musical when he was 17 and has performed in various musicals in the USA. It was a world tour with WEST SIDE STORY that brought him to Europe, where he has appeared in numerous shows, including 3 MUSKETEERS – THE MUSICAL, Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, DER SCHUH DES MANITU, ICH WAR NOCH NIEMALS IN NEW YORK, INTO THE WOODS and ZORRO – THE MUSICAL, as well as performing on the CATS circus tour as Munkustrap, Gus/Growltiger, Old Deuteronomy and Rum Tum Tugger, among others. He appears regularly at the Berlin Comic Opera but his most recent work was at the Deutsches Theater in Munich, where he understudied Joe in CARMEN CUBANA – A LATIN POP OPERA. His most recent appearance at the Ronacher was in THE VISIT.
