The countdown is on! In just a few weeks, Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will celebrate its grand premiere at the Raimund Theater.

Rehearsals for the spectacular new production by US star director and choreographer Matt West are in full swing. Behind the scenes, the team is working with great passion and energy on the return of one of the most successful musicals of all time to Vienna.

Last week, media representatives were given an exclusive glimpse behind the scenes of the rehearsals, led by Matt West, offering a first look at the new production. The star-studded cast – led by the soloists Marlene Jubelius, Dominik Hees, Roy Goldman, Simon Stockinger, Wietske van Tongeren, Mathias Schlung, Linus Al Baroffio, Oliver Huether, Jana Stelley and Birgit Arquin – presented selected scenes from the Disney classic and offered a foretaste of what audiences can expect at the Raimund Theatre from 25 September.

An international musical phenomenon based on the world-famous Disney film Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST tells the touching story of Belle and the enchanted prince, who can only be freed by true love. The original Broadway production ran continuously for over 13 years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards®, including ‘Best Musical’. More than 38 million people in over 17 countries have seen Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST to date.
