GRADUATION CONCERT BY MUK GRADUATES OF 2018
STARS AND ‘THE NEXT GENERATION’ AT THE RONACHER
Yesterday, 28 June 2018, the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien (VBW) and the City of Vienna’s Private University of Music and the Arts (MUK) once again presented a very special evening at the Ronacher with ‘WE ARE MUSICAL – THE NEXT GENERATION’, dedicated entirely to the musical stars of tomorrow. The graduates of this year’s ‘Musical Entertainment Theatre’ course at the MUK showcased their talents on the main stage

Alongside this year’s graduating class of MUK students, established former MUK students also took to the stage once again: Otto Jaus, Boris Pfeifer, Sigrid Hauser, as well as VBW stars Diana Schnierer and Raphael Gross from DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES and Katharina Gorgi from I AM FROM AUSTRIA. Also in attendance were the hosts: VBW Musical Director Christian Struppeck and VBW Managing Director Prof. Dr Franz Patay, as well as the designated Rector of the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna (MUK), Andreas Mailath-Pokorny.
The evening was hosted by director, actor and Deputy Head of Studies Werner Sobotka. The young artists were accompanied by members of the VBW orchestra under the musical direction of Peter Uwira; children and young people from the VBW musical theatre class ‘music moves’ (in cooperation with Superar) also performed.
An evening entirely in the spirit of nurturing young talent – featuring the stars of today and tomorrow!
