Rehearsals begin for Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
Premiere on 25 September 2026 at the Raimund Theatre
In just around seven weeks’ time, the curtain will rise at the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien (VBW), a Wien Holding company, on the most enchanting musical of all time: Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.
On Monday 3 August, staged rehearsals began on the VBW’s rehearsal stage. The cast and the entire team led by US star director and choreographer Matt West are understandably full of anticipation.
The entire ensemble – led by the soloists Marlene Jubelius, Dominik Hees, Roy Goldman, Simon Stockinger, Wietske van Tongeren, Mathias Schlung, Linus Al Baroffio, Oliver Huether, Jana Stelley and Birgit Arquin as well as the team both on stage and behind the scenes – are now eagerly awaiting the grand premiere on 25 September at the Raimund Theatre and are looking forward to the exciting and thrilling rehearsal period ahead.
