Musicals – More Than Just Theater! Under this motto, the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien is hosting exciting musical workshops for apprentices in April in cooperation with OeAD-GmbH – Agency for Education and Internationalization and Basis.Kultur.Wien.
Over the course of three sessions, young people from three vocational schools gained exclusive insights into the current VBW production MARIA THERESIA – THE MUSICAL and the varied daily work life at the Ronacher. Together with VBW cultural mediator Margarete Reichel-Neuwirth, they developed a choreography and a rap from the show. In addition, key themes from the production were explored and discussed—including monarchy and democracy, as well as role models of the past and present.
The grand finale was a group visit to the musical, which was met with great enthusiasm by the apprentices!
