‘Beauty’ and ‘Beast’ have been cast
The secret is finally out!
VBW newcomer Marlene Jubelius and musical star Dominik Hees will be appearing in the title roles of “Belle” and ‘Beast’ in Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST at the Raimund Theatre from autumn onwards.
VBW musical director Christian Struppeck is bringing the impressive new production of the most enchanting musical of all time by US star director and choreographer Matt West to the Raimund Theatre from September 2026.
For Marlene Jubelius (TANZ DER VAMPIRE / Stuttgart, WEST SIDE STORY, ADDAMS FAMILY, among others), this is her first leading role at the VBW and also her Vienna debut. Dominik Hees is already well known to Viennese audiences. He is currently appearing in MARIA THERESIA – DAS MUSICAL at the Ronacher for the VBW and has also appeared in successful productions such as DER GLÖCKNER VON NOTRE DAME and CATS.
