For the sixth time, VBW JUNGES MUSICAL, the cultural outreach programme of the musical division of Vereinigte Bühnen Wien, organised a large-scale musical theatre outreach project at MS Gassergasse, focusing on the current VBW hit production ROCK ME AMADEUS – DAS FALCO MUSICAL. This time, the project was carried out in collaboration with DIALOG, the individual addiction counselling service in Vienna.

During the lessons led by VBW JUNGES MUSICAL, a total of 220 pupils spent four days working on the new VBW musical, which revolves around the exceptional artist "Falco". The young people were able to choose their own focus: dance, singing, rap or stage design were available to choose from. And "Falco" himself was also discussed: "Who was the person behind Hans Hölzel?" or "What music did he write?". The topic of "Addiction & Prevention" was also addressed and explored in a workshop designed specifically for school classes by the DIALOG association.

There was another highlight as part of the project: the actors Katharina Gorgi, Martin Enenkel and Simon Stockinger from ROCK ME AMADEUS – DAS FALCO MUSICAL stopped by the workshops and answered questions from the young people. To round off the musical theatre education project, the pupils were invited by Wiener Städtische Versicherung to see the hit musical at the Ronacher theatre – much to the delight and excitement of the children and young people.
