400 performances full of passion and goosebumps

On Sunday, 28 September, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA celebrated a very special milestone at the Raimund Theatre: its 400th performance.

Since its premiere in March 2024, Andrew Lloyd Webber's masterpiece, in Cameron Mackintosh's breathtaking new production, has been enchanting audiences night after night. Due to its great success, the production was extended and began its third season in September. The classic musical can be seen on stage at the Raimund Theatre until June 2026.


THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, based on Gaston Leroux's classic novel ‘Le Fantôme de L'Opéra’, tells the well-known story of the Phantom who lives in the eerie catacombs of the Paris Opera and his great love for the young singer Christine Daaé. With a total of more than 160 million visitors in productions in 58 countries, 205 cities in 21 languages and winner of over 70 of the most important theatre awards, the original production is one of the most successful musicals of all time.
