In cooperation with OeAD-GmbH - Agency for Education and Internationalisation and Basis.Kultur.Wien, Vereinigte Bühnen Wien (VBW), a company of Wien Holding, offered apprentices the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of the VBW musical hit ROCK ME AMADEUS – THE FALCO MUSICAL in January and February.

Musical is diversity, musical is teamwork, musical is respectful co-operation. On three dates in January and February, three musical workshops took place at the Ronacher theatre of the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien as part of the ‘K3-Kulturvermittlung mit Lehrlingen’ project sponsored by the OeAD and Basis.Kultur.Wien. Under the title ‘MUSICAL - more than theatre’, three apprentice classes will gain insights into the musical genre and the working world at Vereinigte Bühnen Wien.

In an eight-hour musical workshop, the musical ROCK ME AMADEUS – THE FALCO MUSICAL will be used to discuss the content, question role models and establish links between the musical and the young adults' lives using methods from theatre education, improvisation, rap, movement and dance, singing and dancing, among other things. During a backstage tour and a talk by a VBW employee, the young people gain an insight into everyday working life at the VBW. A visit to a performance of ROCK ME AMADEUS – THE FALCO MUSICAL at the Ronacher linked the musical-aesthetic experiences and rounded off the project.
