On July 1, 2009, THE INFERNAL COMEDY opened at the RONACHER. A highly enthusiastic audience cheered Hollywood star John Malkovich and the two sopranos Laura Aikin and Aleksandra Zamojska and subsequently joined them at the RONACHER’s canteen to celebrate the premiere. Birgit Hutter and Martin Haselböck who developed the idea for this musical theatre project as well as director and author Michael Sturminger were exceedingly happy with the successful opening night and clinked their glasses with artists and Artistic Director Kathrin Zechner.

Lukas Perman and Marjan Shaki, too, were enthusiastic about the performance and came to offer their congratulations in person – in the „sequel“ of THE INFERNAL COMEDY, they will share the stage with John Malkovich – on September 16, the curtain at the RONACHER will rise on the premiere of TANZ DER VAMPIRE. Lukas has been cast as Alfred and Marjan as Sarah.
